Chapman (21) mandó la pelota a la calle en la quinta entrada llevando a dos corredores por delante al cazar la serpentina del abridor Andrew Heaney.
El tercera base terminó con seis carreras remolcadas de las 12 que lograron los Atléticos.
En la lomita la victoria se la acreditó el abridor Chriss Bassitt (5-3) en cinco entradas y dos tercios.
Por los Angelinos, Ohtani (12) conectó dos vuelacercas en el cuarto episodio sobre los envíos de Bassitt, sin corredores por delante.
