Hermosillo.- Para garantizar a los trabajadores del Estado la atención y el tratamiento permanente contra el cáncer, la diputada local Diana Platt Salazar presentó una iniciativa de reforma a la Ley del Isssteson.
La legisladora del Grupo Parlamentario de Morena indicó que la propuesta consiste en obligar al Instituto a ampliar de manera indefinida el tratamiento contra el cáncer que se presta a los derechohabientes, y que actualmente la Ley estipula 52 semanas como máximo.
“Actualmente la ley no contempla que se cubran el tratamiento de cáncer para un paciente que está sufriendo y que tenga el servicio de Isssteson porque lo considera como una enfermedad no profesional; las enfermedades profesionales son las que se supone que te dan por laborar o por hacer el trabajo que estas realizando”, explicó.
La iniciativa que modificaría el artículo 24 de la Ley del Isssteson fue turnada a la Comisión de Salud del Congreso del Estado para su análisis, discusión y probable dictaminación.
