Sonora .- Bajas en ocupación hotelera superiores al 80 por ciento se estiman para Sonora en la próxima Semana Santa, a consecuencia de la contingencia por el Covid-19, señaló Juan Pedro Vanegas Burke.
El presidente de la Asociación de Hoteles y Moteles en el estado puntualizó que ante las recomendaciones preventivas de contagio emitidas por la Secretaria de Salud, se prevé que la mayor afectación se registre en los principales destinos turísticos de playa como Puerto Peñasco, San Carlos y Bahía de Kino.
“Definitivamente esperamos bajas muy importantes en la ocupación hotelera, especialmente en los destinos de playa como Puerto Peñasco, San Carlos, Kino, que son los destinos de playa, ahí si van a tener una baja significativa en sus ocupaciones”, apuntó.
Indicó que se espera que en las próximas semanas el gobierno federal emita la declaratoria de contingencia sanitaria para que los estados de la República puedan acceder a los fondos para resarcir las afectaciones económicas al sector turismo.
