México .- Al iniciarse la producción de la nueva credencial para votar, el consejero presidente del INE, Lorenzo Córdova, subrayó que tanto la base de datos del padrón como la mica misma, son dos de las bases de datos más seguras del mundo, que en total cuestan 280 pesos por ciudadano con credencial para votar.
Esta nueva credencial cuenta con un código QR que podrá leerse con una app de celular, para verificar que esa mica es auténtica y vigente.
En este marco, Córdova Vianello reiteró la disposición del INE para prestar el servicio al Estado mexicano para dar identidad a los menores de edad de lo que dijo, “estamos a un convenio de que ocurra, lo demás es mera voluntad política”.
El consejero Marco Baños aseguró que en tiempos de austeridad sería un error contar con dos bases de datos y optar por una sola base de datos en manos de la Secretaría de Gobernación lo que generaría un problema de confianza.
