México .- El exdirector de Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Emilio Lozoya Austin, podría ser detenido en cualquier momento por el caso Odebrecht, tras renunciar a la suspensión que lo protegía de ser capturado por la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR).
Ante el Juzgado Décimo Cuarto de Distrito de Amparo en Materia Penal en la Ciudad de México, Lozoya Austin presentó un escrito de desistimiento, el cual ya fue ratificado por su defensa, por lo que la suspensión que el juez concedió la semana pasada al exfuncionario quedará sin efecto.
La FGR acusa a Lozoya, quien se encuentra fuera de México en calidad de prófugo de la justicia, por los supuestos delitos de lavado de dinero, cohecho y asociación delictuosa derivado de la investigación por el caso Odebrecht.
