Georgia .- Un mexicano que se declaró culpable de traficar con 500 mil dosis letales de fentanilo fue condenado a unos seis años de cárcel.
Pablo Vega Ontanon, de 53 años, fue sentenciado el lunes a 74 meses de prisión por posesión de heroína con intención de distribuir, según un comunicado del fiscal, Mike Hurst.
Además, fue sentenciado a otros cinco años de libertad vigilada.
Según el comunicado, Vega Ontanon -que vivía en Georgia sin la documentación pertinente-, Eder Ortega Cassarubias y Eric Estudillo Carrazco viajaron a Mississippi para vender heroína a un informante confidencial y fueron descubiertos con nueve kilos de heroína y uno de fentanilo, del que pueden sacarse 500 mil dosis letales.
Los otros acusados también se declararon culpables.
Ortega Cassarubias fue condenado a 127 meses de reclusión y Estudillo Carrazco será sentenciado en noviembre.
