Agencias .- La Administración Nacional de la Aeronáutica y del Espacio (NASA) publicó recientemente una serie de fotografías tomadas por la sonda espacial ‘Juno’ en la que se observa una extraña mancha negra sobre una de las caras de Júpiter.
Esta mancha desconcertó a los expertos de la NASA quienes, en un principio, no sabían con certeza la naturaleza.
Luego de unos días, la NASA informó tener una explicación razonable para este evento.
La agencia espacial informó que se trató de la sombra producida por Ío, una de las lunas volcánicas de Júpiter.
Las fotografías, publicadas el pasado 12 de septiembre, formaron parte de una serie de imágenes captadas por ‘Juno’ a una distancia de aproximadamente 8 mil kilómetros.
La sonda de la NASA terminará su misión en el año 2021.
