Agencias .- Por el coronavirus, las ventas de smartphones en América Latina pueden decrecer entre 5% y 10% este año, según la consultora IDC.
“Los envíos y producción de smartphones y componentes como sensores de huella digital, touch pad e inclusive memorias se han contraído hasta en 50% a nivel mundial, debido a las medidas que estableció el gobierno chino para contener la epidemia del coronavirus, Covid-19”, indica IDC en un comunicado.
En la región, Brasil es uno de los países más afectados, porque sus empresas también enfrentan la baja producción de componentes, especialmente para celulares y computadoras, por lo que algunas de las organizaciones operan con cierres parciales o están programando paros.
Desde principios de año la industria en el estado de Nuevo León se ha visto afectado por la epidemia del COVID-19 esto de acuerdo a la Cámara de la Industria de la Transformación.
Las afectaciones del coronavirus a la economía mundial han provocado que el dólar haya alcanzado su nivel máximo cotizando en 22 pesos.
