Sonora .- La Fundación Shriners de Sonora realizó la vigésimo cuarta jornada médica con 11 especialistas y enfermos en el Hospital Infantil del Estado para atender a 110 niños con quemaduras.
José Arturo Barreda Astiazarán, presidente de Fundación Shriners de Sonora, resaltó que los 11 médicos y enfermeros provenientes del Hospital Shriners de Sacramento, California, han atendido a los menores en dicho nosocomio cuando fueron trasladados por emergencia cuando recién sufrieron las quemaduras por incendio de casas o explosión, por caerles encima agua hivierno o aceite caliente.

“Vienen médicos especialistas, terapistas, enfermeras, parte de un equipo que es el que regularmente los atiende cuando están allá en el hospital en sus cirugías”, comentó.
Las revisiones médicas son parte del seguimiento del estado de salud de cada niña y niño. En caso de que requieran cirugía, dijo, se programará la misma en el Hospital Shriners en sacramento, California.
