Turquía .- Un avión de pasajeros de la compañía Pegasus Airlines se ha estrellado este míercoles tras salirse de la pista del aeropuerto de Estambul Gokcen cuando realizaba la maniobra de aterrizaje. El ministro de Transportes, Cahit Turhan, ha informado de que no se han registrado víctimas mortales en el accidente. El avión quedó partido en tres después de lo que Turhan llamó un rudo aterrizaje. El ministro ha agregado que algunos pasajeros resultaron heridos.
Una portavoz de Pegasus Airlines ha confirmado el accidente, pero no ha proporcionado más detalles. Turhan ha explicado que el avión transportaba 177 pasajeros y seis tripulantes. Imágenes en medios turcos muestran el fuselaje del avión fracturado. Los pasajeros están siendo evacuados del avión, situado en una zona de hierba al lado de la pista.
