Agencias .- La Liga Nacional de Futbol Americano (NFL) anunció este miércoles que el oficial Bill Vinovich será el encargado de hacer cumplir el reglamento en el Super Bowl LIV, que se llevará a cabo el próximo 2 de febrero en Miami.
La liga detalló que Barry Anderson, Kent Pyne, Boris Cheek, Greed Steed, el juez de línea Carl Johnson, el de campo Michael Banks y el oficial Mike Chase complementarán la labor de Bill.
Esta será la segunda experiencia de Vinovich en un “Súper domingo”, pues ya estuvo presente en la edición XLIX, cuando los Patriotas de Nueva Inglaterra se impusieron 28-24 a los Halcones Marinos de Seattle.
Aunque ya tiene experiencia en el duelo decisivo de la NFL, Bill se vio envuelto en polémica en 2018, cuando no sancionó una supuesta interferencia de pase, en la final de la Conferencia Nacional entre los Santos de Nueva Orleans y los Carneros de Los Ángeles.
El estadio de los Delfines de Miami, que se ubica al sur de Florida, será sede por sexta ocasión en su historia del encuentro en que se defina al ganador del Trofeo Vince Lombardi.
