Hermosillo .- Como zona peatonal se habilitará el próximo mes de enero la calle Monterrey, entre Matamoros y Guerrero, colonia Centro, informó la directora del Instituto Municipal de Planeación.
Guadalupe Peñuñuri Soto, dijo que el Patronato Pro Obras del Centro Histórico y Comercial de Hermosillo invertirá medio millón de pesos para condicionar el tramo vial con la colocación de mesas, sillas, jardineras y pintado de señalamientos.

“En enero viene la rehabilitación de la calle Matamoros, entonces, se va a provechar que ya se va cerrar esa calle por las obras y ya vamos hacer peatonal la calle Monterrey, como programa piloto”, explicó.
Recordó que este proyecto se llevaría a cabo en octubre o noviembre pasado, pero, se aplazó para en enero próximo para no molestar a los visitantes del centro de la capital sonorense que registra a finales de año.
