Sonora .- Alrededor de 100 miembros de la comunidad mormona en Sonora llegaron el pasado sábado a Arizona, luego de los hechos violentos en donde perdieron la vida nueve miembros de la familia LeBarón, en el municipio de Bavispe.
Se trata de familias que han vivido en las comunidades de La Mora, ubicada en la entidad, y Colonia LeBarón, en Galeana, Chihuahua, quienes dejaron estas zonas para mudarse a Estados Unidos, a una semana de registrarse la ejecución de seis menores y tres mujeres de dicha familia.
De acuerdo con medios locales, el líder de la comunidad mormona, Julián LeBarón informó que ellos quieren estar en Estados Unidos para sentirse más seguros, y por temor a sufrir represalias por parte de organizaciones delictivas.
Las decenas de familias salieron en casi 20 camionetas de Chihuahua con destino a Arizona para ubicarse en las ciudades de Tucson y Phoenix, ya que no se sentían seguros de seguir viviendo en Bavispe.
El sábado, las familias cargaron combustible en una gasolinera en Douglas, antes de emprender el trayecto rumbo a Tucson y Phoenix, con todas las pertenencias que pudieron llevar en sus camionetas.
