Sonora .- Telecomunicaciones de México (Telecom) amplió su cobertura en las 85 sucursales de 65 municipios de Sonora, con el propósito de que el ciudadano pague los servicios básicos del hogar y bancarios.
Este organismo federal ofrece un total de 197 servicios entre ellos el pago de luz, agua, teléfono, internet también pagos en programas sociales federales como Adultos Mayores de 65 y Más, Adultos Mayores de 68 y Más, Estancias Infantiles, apoyos a discapacitados, becas a niñas y niños, becas a estudiantes del nivel medio superior. Así mismo que pueden recibir los envíos de las remesas de los paisanos que radican en Estados Unidos.
Telecomunicaciones de México operaba como Telégrafos de México, pero con este nuevo giro de acuerdo a la Reforma Estructural de Telecomunicaciones se dio una amplia cobertura nacional en mil 770 sucursales con una amplia gama de servicios.
